A rough illustration of my final ITP garment

The exams are almost over. It’s just the integrated term project, or I.T.Peeeeeeeeee as we call it, which is left, is scheduled on 20th May. I am working on the theme “Memoirs of Geisha”. The Japanese geisha inspiration has lots to play with colours, surface, volume and exaggeration. I have taken elements from the traditional geisha look to create a more contemporary silhouette. Two of the many concept sketches I had made. The first ensemble has been approved and I have started working on constructing the garment.
