NIFT Fashion Spectrum 2011

Most NIFTians are always busy with some or other assignment or projects that there are times when we even forget to breathe! Gosh! We had a break for three days from those endless assignments and submissions. NIFT’s cultural fest, Spectrum 2011 was spread over three days and yes… three days of ultimate fun and action. The fest was probably the best that the college has organized in the recent times. The theme ‘Tagged Green’ was carried out with the slogan ‘Remake, Retake, and Recycle. Have you been tagged green?’

Students participated in various competitions like slow cycle race, body art, tattoo design, youth challenge, choreography events, caricature competition etc. Students of fashion design, textile design, knitwear design, accessory design and leather design department showcased their garments in an extravagant fashion show followed by Rock Show, DJ Nite and celebrity performance by Juggy D. The cultural fest span over 3 days was a complete package except for the Juggy D show, where most songs sounded more or less the same for me! I rather preferred to go out and smoke up with friends.

And some spectrum moments…..
