Channel Couture Autumn/Winter 2010, Paris Fashion Week

Models walked through huge golden lion whose paw rests over a enormous pearl. Karl Lagerfeld’s Chanel couture showcased outfits in maroon, brown, camel, black, military green and metallics. The show started with formal suits, camels, double breasted shapes, body-fitting dress, pencil skirts and ending with more decorative dresses with more glitter and embellishments.

Cropped jackets with elbow length sleeves teamed with high-waisted pencil skirts just above the knee level. The outfits spoke of highly precise tailoring and richness.
