Fashion Illustration – Celebs at Met Gala 2015 Red Carpet

Met Gala (also known as Met Ball), the high fashion event to raise money for Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute was graced with style superstars who were a vision to behold. The theme for the event that also marks one of fashion’s biggest night was ‘China: Through The Looking Glass’. While Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez and Kim Kardashian fiercely worked the naked look, Rihanna covered herself in longest trail in yellow, taking the Met Gala 2015 staircase as well as the social media for herself. Here are fashion illustrations of my favourite looks from Met Gala 2015 red carpet.

Beyonce took the latter part of the theme for this year’s Met Gala ‘Through The Looking Glass’ quite literally as she hardly left anything for imagination (like every other magazine and newspaper reported). The sheer gown with multi coloured crystals and stones had Ricardo Tisci’s signature style all over and it beautifully complimented Queen Bey’s fabulously fit body.

I was never really an ardent follower of Justin Bieber‘s sartorial choices. However his outlook at Met Gala 2015 not only caught my attention but made it to my list of best dressed celebrities at Met Gala 2015. Bieber wore an edgy black Balmain velvet blazer with golden dragon embroidery. He further worked on the Chinese inspired theme, “China: Through The Looking Glass” by teaming the blazer with mandarin collared overlap shirt. Pair of black skinny trousers and black sunglasses added edgy touch to his outfit.

Compare her outfit to an omelet or toss in some onions and olives to make a giant pizza out of it. Rihanna not only took the entire Met Gala red carpet staircase to herself but owned even the social media. Rihanna walked the Met Gala red carpet in a fur trimmed yellow cape with longest trail designed by Chinese designer Guo Pei.
